Rap Dads is a web series where I get to use my skills and connections as a journalist and sits down with some of the most influential contributors in the rap game and talks about parenting. Throughout my career in music television I've often found my favorite conversations with rappers has been about the joys of fatherhood. However there has never been a platform or vehicle for those convos. Now there is! I hope you enjoy it. Please share it and find us on YouTube & Facebook. Watch below!
It was my pleasure to talk fatherhood with mulit-platinum producer, Amadeus. He is a man I’ve known for years in the industry and have always had the utmost respect for. His energy is nothing but positivity and light, which is rare in entertainment. We instantly hit it off and maintained a good relationship over the years. Once I had the idea to create the Rap Dads series he was the first person I reached out to.
Aside from being a producer with placements galore he is also a touring musician. Amadeus is currently on the road with Trey Songz as his drummer and music director. Knowing first hand the demands touring has I wanted to know how he handles the road and home. However what he revealed to me in this interview was much deeper and personal.
I hope you enjoy this episode. Be sure to check future episodes here on www.raisingtrndsttrs.com every Tuesday at noon EST.
